The aim of the article is to reveal peculiar features intonation as one most essential means a professional actor’s logic-emotional expressiveness, well define specificity logical an utterance in context verbal activity. research methodology. author has applied typological, systems methods and method functional analysis analyse activity by actor. terminological been used specify basic terms definitions research. cognitive enabled extrapolation theoretical foundations linguistics theatrical art. Scientific novelty. presents main expressiveness analysed functions intonation, its components, such stress, pauses, rising falling tones, speech melody, voice timbre, tempo, constructions speech.
